From the south leave the M1 at Junction 35a and follow the Manchester / Huddersfield signs for 10 miles approx. When you reach the large roundabout go straight across onto the A616 to Huddersfield. Follow this road for 1 mile until reaching a crossroads where you then turn left onto the B6106 to Holmfirth near Huddersfield, West Yorkshire. Follow this road for about 5 miles, on your right you will see a windmill, after that watch for a minor crossroad and the sign post marked Scholes to the right. Immediately following you should see Cross Farm Barn on the right hand side.
From the North M1 take Junction 39 Denby Dale. Continue to major crossroad and follow A635 Holmfirth. On reaching Holmfirth take the left hand turn B6106 Dunford Road for 1 mile approx. Cross Farm Barn can be found on the left hand side, just before the minor crossroads.
